Design 101 Redux – Week 5: My Food

Monday 30/11


-Recipe of the week: Tiramisu.
1 cup of espresso coffee
4 eggs, yolks and whites separated
80 g sugar
500 g mascarpone
250 g savoiardi biscuits
1 spoon cocoa powder

How to: Mix egg yolks and sugar in a bowl until it is thick. Add mascarpone and mix until combined. Whip the egg whites up with a pinch of salt and add to the mascarpone cream. Dip biscuits in coffee and layer them in your baking tin, covering its bottom. Place some mascarpone cream on top and spread out. Repeat, finishing with a mascarpone layer; dust with cocoa. Refrigerate for a couple of hours.
